Friday we took the bikes into a spot set aside for
us in the Expo Center. It was a shame in many respects because of the weather. We have not seen Steve MacMinn for a few days
but we think he may still be around as it rained all day. Since many folks were not riding today, we had a large number of
attendees stop by and ask about the ride, the bikes and the HRCA. A number of people told us about the times that having “The
Card” saved them while on a ride. Flat tires, lost keys, breakdowns. You name it, we heard about it! Mike and I told
them all that we have our cards but never needed them during our ride.
Charlie came over to say “Hi”, pose
for a shot and set the kids up on plenty of candy to get them wired for the day. Carin was sure to thank him for his kindness!

We don't know how Charlie does it, but he is alway running around and greeting folks at the Hoot! |
|
Thanks Charlie but, the kids need anything but candy! |
We
got the families to sit still for a second and got a shot of them on the bikes.

Among the folks stopping by to visit with us was
a guy with a true testament to his believe in Honda. A Honda Wing and “Ride Red” tattooed on his arm!
|
Now THAT is dedication to the Honda brand! |
The HRCA booth was very active as it always is and
many people were gathered around to hang out and to try to get dry from the rain.
