Well, WE MADE IT!
That’s right, it’s official, we are
now in Knoxville Tennessee at the Honda HOOT.
We had a hundred miles of rain today but who cares!
We met up with Charlie Keller and he introduced us to a large group of Hoot first timers attending a seminar and then at the
Welcome Party.

We will be meeting with many different folks that
want to hear about our ride over the next few days and our families will be coming into town as well. Brenda and Amber will
be coming in tomorrow while Carin, Anthony and Nick will be here Thursday.
We were invited to come and talk to some folks at
a little place called the Time Warp Tea Room, which houses many different motorcycles and memorabilia. The walls are covered
in Cycle News pages from times past.

Steve saw this and had to get a picture of it. A real cool wind chime! |
When we arrived in Knoxville, my odometer read 16,666
and we rode a total of 213 today. Our overall official ride took us to 4,420 miles over the duration of the trip. We
will go well over 4,500 miles by the end of the week.
We
decided to take a picture of all of the tools and spares that we brought and then took a shot of what we actually used. Although
I am not surprised, I am amazed that the bikes were so trouble free. After all, they are over 40 years old!

Here is what we brought... |

Here is what was needed! Better safe than sorry I suppose |
We
will be assembling a final installment for this trip by the end of the week and will upload as soon as we can.
Check on the home page to see when we update the
site.
Thanks for checking in!
